ANZAC Day

Today, our kindergarten children commemorated ANZAC Day with a creative and meaningful activity! They painted beautiful poppy flowers using red paint, symbolizing remembrance and respect for those who served. The poppies were then attached to green paper leaves, also crafted by our little artists, and displayed in our foyer for everyone to enjoy.

Our talented chef added a special touch by baking delicious ANZAC biscuits, served at afternoon tea.

But why do we commemorate ANZAC Day?

ANZAC Day honors the bravery and sacrifice of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) soldiers who fought and died in wars. It’s a day to remember, reflect, and show respect for those who served.

We’re proud of our children for understanding the significance of this day and expressing their creativity in a meaningful way.
