Garden to Plate” project

At Small Friends Childcare & Education Kialla our kinder children are immersed in the “Garden to Plate” project! They’ve been learning how to sow seeds, water plants, and now, harvesting their own vegetables! They love the process—from planting, to picking, to handing fresh produce to our chef. Through this, they’re discovering how food grows, how it’s cooked, and how they can make healthy eating choices. From tiny seeds to delicious meals—what a journey!
