Do you know the rules around absences and overseas travel?
Families can get Child Care Subsidy (CCS) when their child can’t attend child care for up to 42 days a year.
To remain eligible for CCS, a family must meet residency requirements. This means:
payments will stop when a family leaves Australia to live in another country
payments will stop after 6 weeks when a family travels overseas.
